Sandy Azancot I began my tattoo legacy in 1986 and opened my first shop in Hope, Arkansas in 1987. In 1990 I closed up and took a two year vacation to Canada to study the indigenous wildlife (my husband Phil). The Dermagraphic Studio you all know and love was founded in 1992 and still stands proud as Texarkana’s oldest tattoo shop. Some of my work has been published in such magazines as: Tattoo, Tattoo Revue, and Skin Art. You may also recognize me and my good client Joe Bob Jeffress, from a feature in VH1’s 2004 program, “Set in Skin.” On an educational note, I hold a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Southern Arkansas University. Oh, and by the way… “Yes it hurts! But pain is only temporary, tattoos are forever.”
Susan “Bunnie” Powell I'm a local girl born and raised in Texarkana, where I graduated from Texas High class of '01. My career as a tattoo artist began in 2004 and I've been in love with it ever since. These days I enjoy challenging myself with detailed black and gray pieces including portraits of people and animals. So when you're ready for your next tattoo or your first one, come let me show you that, "Bunnie knows best!"
Heath Greene The tattoo journey began for me in 2005. Everyday is a new adventure, and I never get tired of it. My style has evolved into Realism/American Traditional. I have been an artist since I could hold a pencil. I enjoy working with pencils, pastels, oils and acrylics. I have a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture/Business with a minor in Studio Art. My free time is spent with my wife, Jamey, or at the archery range; and yeah "tattoos hurt, but don't be scared, it's only permanent!"
Jason I was always interested in tattoos, while growing up. Alas, I got the typical response from the parents, the "not while you live in my house!" I got my first tattoo in 200 by the infamous, Sandy Azancot, and was hooked from that moment on. I began tattooing in late 2004 and have grown as an artist consistently. I love trying new styles and I am quite excited about being part of the family at Dermagraphic Studio, where I seem to learn something new each day. My favorite styles are traditional and new school, but I love working in all formats. I love to mix the two, creating a traditional design with a new school look. So, if you're in the mood for something new, come see me! |
